How to download and sign into Canvas App for Students

This guide will provide instructions to download and sign into the Canvas app for students on an iOS or Android device. 

Step-by-Step

1. On your device, download the Canvas App. 
      
   • Canvas (Android)
     
      
   • Canvas (iOS) 
     
2. Select the Find My School button
   
3. Connect to your St. Petersburg College Canvas account.
   • Search for St. Petersburg College by name (video demo)
   • Type in the St. Petersburg College Canvas URL: canvas.spcollege.edu
     
   • Use a QR code to sign in.
      
4. Sign in with your St. Petersburg College credentials. 
    
5. The first time you sign into the app, you need to use multi-factor authentication. You can use the Microsoft Authenticator App, a verification code, a text, or a phone call to authenticate your device.

6. Update your notifications. Click allow to allow the Canvas app to send you notifications. Click don't allow to prevent notifications.
